There are many different treatments available for PTSD. For example, there is exposure therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic psychotherapy, medication, and EMDR. One study found that people evaluated exposure therapy as the most preferred and credible treatment for PTSD, with CBT coming in second, psychodynamic psychotherapy third, and medication fourth.
