Military Sexual Trauma

Definition:

Military sexual trauma (MST) refers to the experience of some form of sexual assault (ranging from unwanted sexual contact to rape) that occurs while a person is in the military. High rates of military sexual trauma have been found, and it is commonly associated with the development of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
