(1) Suzy :

I was dx’d with PTSD, 25 years ago, following my mother’s
death which was expected, but was still a shock, after she
passed. 2-1/2 years ago, my father died of brain cancer, so again, he was expected to die but it was still very hard and a shock all over again! I felt like it was my mother’s death part II. I never realized just how tough it would be to lose, both my mom and my dad. I felt like an orphan, although I know in my heart I was never an orphan and was loved by 2 exceptional parents. However, after my father’s death, I can’t come to grips of how he died, where he died. And all the circumstances that went with his death. I just got depressed all over again, and had to deal with loss all over again. It sucks. If I had a chance to go back, and see my parents for one more day, I wouldn’t b/c I would have to go through all that emotional pain, all,
over again.. No thanks.
