Videos on PTSD

Wednesday August 5, 2009
If you're dealing with a traumatic event, PTSD videos may be helpful as you work through your struggles. At times you may have felt very alone. You may have also been afraid to seek out support or treatment, either due to the stigma associated with having PTSD or a mental health disorder in general. The International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS) recognizes this. For this reason, they provide three free PTSD videos in which trauma survivors tell their stories about coping with the effects of a traumatic event. Each story focuses on a different topic. You can learn more about these videos, as well as how to watch them, in this article.
